Key Responsibilities

As a Data Management Analyst at Corning, you will:

• Initiate and maintain accurate material records in ERP systems.
• Design and execute data cleanup and standardization for supplier and material records.
• Develop and oversee data standards, ensuring high quality and compliance.
• Manage master data sets, generate reports, and resolve data discrepancies.
• Work collaboratively with teams to meet data needs consistently across all platforms.
• Implement data improvement strategies to boost data reliability and quality.
• Analyze data to spot trends and solve data-related issues.
• Maintain and upgrade data systems in line with regulations and best practices.

Scope of the Position

Your efforts support the Global Supply Management sector, focusing on vital data elements like supplier information, transaction expenditures, and operational metrics. Your proficiency with data management tools will fundamentally strengthen our processes and competitive edge.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ERP systems focused on creating supplier and material data.
• Demonstrated expertise in data quality and governance.
• In-depth knowledge of data analysis and standardization methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and S4 Hana.
• Proficient in various analytical and database platforms such as Microsoft Access, SQL, and Tableau.
• Excellent command of English with strong communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with data management within Ariba Spend Visibility and other related platforms.
• Understanding of data elements critical for detailed data analysis.
• Exposure to international business environments and cross-cultural communications.
• Familiarity with data sharing standards like ISO 8000/22745.
