At JPMorgan Chase & Co., a global leader in financial services, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Management and Governance Associate to enhance our Wholesale Risk Chief Data Office team. This vital role focuses on managing and governing our comprehensive Data Risk Management framework, which is designed to effectively identify, monitor, and mitigate data-related risks.

About the Role

In your role as a Data Management and Governance Associate, you will be pivotal in supporting the implementation of our Chief Data Office strategies and mandates. You will work closely with various stakeholders across the firm to enhance our data governance capabilities and ensure compliance with our Data Risk Management Policy and standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Program Management

Provide essential support for Data Risk Leads and ensure the strategic implementation of data risk management priorities. Maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders for seamless communication and adherence to data risk policies.

Data Governance

Prepare and deliver both standard and ad hoc reports and manage communications with risk stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective project management.

Data Quality

Manage and coordinate remediation activities for data quality issues and participate in significant projects to enhance data quality across the organization.

Data Lifecycle Management

Support the operationalization of data risk related processes, monitor detailed activities and prioritize effectively to manage data lifecycle successfully.

Data Controls Management

Maintain and enhance data control best practices, and contribute to centralized data controls implementations to monitor data health and quality across Wholesale Risk.

Requirements for Success

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Governance, Project Management, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with large data sets.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and data management applications.

Preferred Skills:

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage changes and adapt within a dynamic environment.
• Strong multitasking skills and capability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of JPMorgan Chase’s business practices and services.
