Senior Data Operations Engineer Position at PatientPoint

Location: Cincinnati Metropolitan Area

Schedule: Hybrid (2-3 days in office weekly, depending on distance)

Travel: 3-5 times per year

Job Summary

Join the forefront of digital health at PatientPoint and contribute to a culture that values data as a key asset. As a Senior DataOps Engineer, you will play a vital role in managing and enhancing our data infrastructure in a hybrid agile scrum setup.

Key Responsibilities

Snowflake Administration

• Maintain and optimize Snowflake data warehouse environments.
• Ensure system health and scalability for uninterrupted operations.

Tableau Support

• Oversee Tableau Server installations and manage reporting requirements.
• Support and optimize Tableau user experience.

Data Integration and ELT

• Develop and maintain data ingestion processes featuring Fivetran, Astronomer, and Snowflake.
• Enhance data integration workflows to improve efficiency.

Data Governance and Compliance

• Enforce data governance policies and monitor data privacy.
• Collaborate with compliance teams on regulatory requirements.

Documentation and Training

• Document processes and offer training on data tools to end-users.

Requirements

• 3+ years with database management (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server).
• 2+ years with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with data troubleshooting on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong background in data quality and governance frameworks.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in data operations or related field with hands-on experience in Tableau.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Snowflake Certified, Tableau Certified Associate).
