What about the Data team? At Exoticca, the Data team is chiefly responsible for making data indispensable for strategic decision-making throughout the entire organization. We gather vast amounts of data from multiple customer engagement points, ranging from deliberation and booking, to pre-travel, travel, and post-travel. Complemented by our customer-focused mindset, we believe our data-driven culture is key to delivering unmatched products & services, which dazzle our customers and create unforgettable experiences to be cherished for a lifetime. To achieve such lofty goals, our Data team collaborates with other departments, including Marketing, Product, Travel, Sales, or Customer Success, to unearth the most valuable insights our data can yield and translate them into actual company initiatives, business decisions, or product features. What will be your main responsibilities? - Be part of a team responsible for designing and building data solutions end-to-end. - Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for AI-driven innovation and develop strategies for implementing them. - Build, train, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms to deliver data-driven insights to clients. - Define and update key metrics to help us understand our current status and predict the future of our business. - Design and implement dashboards to visualize key metrics throughout the complete customer journey, from lead to booking and post-travel. - Communicate results and insights from your analyses to top management. Requirements - At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role as a BI/Data Scientist. - Lead the adoption of Generative AI tools and integrate them into our workflow. - Prior experience with Python and experience with analysis tools such as Pandas, SciPy, Scikit, Jupyter/iPython notebooks, R. - Experience in statistical modelling and A/B or multivariate test design and implementation. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Qlikview, etc. - Proficient in building queries with SQL. (DBT is a plus) - Fluency in English.
