Position Overview

As a Data Scientist at Arcotech, you will engage in vital tasks such as:

• Developing and implementing both supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning models to drive data-driven solutions.
• Handling and analyzing diverse data formats including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured (like tables, JSON, texts, and images).
• Creating REST APIs in Python to deploy and integrate Machine Learning models.
• Conducting robust statistical analyses to test hypotheses and garner insights.
• Providing technical mentorship to fellow data scientists and promoting best MLOps practices.

What We Need from You

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A degree in a related field such as Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or similar.
• Capability to manage multiple project fronts with a solid knowledge of data modeling workflows.
• Proficiency in tools and languages like SQL, Python, and experience in cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
• A thorough theoretical and technical understanding of popular Machine Learning models.
• The ability to translate business challenges into data-oriented solutions.

Desirable qualifications include:

• Familiarity with advanced Artificial Intelligence techniques such as Language Models and prompt engineering.
• Strong skills in communicating complex results effectively through verbal, graphical, and written presentations.
