This position, based at our headquarters, tasks you with leveraging statistical models and data analysis to expand and enhance Meta's technological infrastructure, ensuring strategic growth and technical evolution.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist at Meta, you will:

• Collect, organize, and analyze statistical data to support scalable infrastructure projects.
• Utilize expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining across various domains to optimize and enhance infrastructure strategies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project priorities and roadmap, aligning with long-term strategic goals.
• Promote consensus among partners, facilitating swift execution through rapid iteration.
• Coordinate projects across workflows to enhance overall impact and prevent redundant efforts.
• Create scalable and statistically robust solutions to complex web, mobile, and data infrastructure challenges.
• Enhance and generalize methodologies for widespread application beyond established parameters.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least two years of professional experience in a similar or related computational role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and either R, SAS, or Matlab.
• Proven experience with machine learning, A/B testing, ETL processes, relational databases, and large-scale data processing structures.
• Demonstrated ability in applying advanced quantitative analysis techniques such as clustering, regression, and statistics.

Salary and Benefits
