We’re seeking a Data Scientist to collaborate with our Marketing teams to speed up Figma’s growth. In this role, you will construct models to refine our marketing efforts, discover insights to drive new strategies, and collaborate with numerous cross-functional partners to harness data across the organization. The ideal candidate has a solid history of implementing analytical projects and working closely with business peers to inform decision-making. What You'll Be Doing: Act as a strategic collaborator with marketing and oversee key areas of Lifecycle Marketing, including enhancing Lifecycle Marketing strategy. Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to construct and preserve data infrastructure, translating business needs from business partners into data models, ensuring data integrity. Design and assess conversion lift experiments to fine-tune campaigns and measure incremental influence. Carry out impact analysis and modeling for various marketing initiatives. Create and sustain datasets, KPIs, and reporting tools for the whole Marketing team. Develop marketing predictive models to enhance marketing efficiency. We’re looking for someone with: 5+ years of relevant work experience supporting Marketing or a similar function. Proficiency in SQL. Experience in Python, R, or a similar scripting language. Expertise in distributed data processing systems (Hive, Redshift, Presto, Snowflake, etc.). A sound understanding of statistical methods and experiment design. Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills. A proactive attitude coupled with strong communication and collaboration skills. Pay Transparency Disclosure: The annual base salary range for roles based in our San Francisco or New York offices is as stated below. Compensation is determined not just by individual qualifications assessed during the interview process, but also market demands, work location, and other factors.
