Key Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist at Meta, your main responsibilities will include:

• Collecting, organizing, interpreting, and summarizing statistical data to enhance product design and development.

• Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to address key challenges, recognize trends, and spot opportunities.

• Tackling diverse projects, ranging from product operations to data infrastructure, using comprehensive data analysis.

Technical Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have expertise in:

• Numerous quantitative analysis techniques such as clustering, regression, and pattern recognition.
• Data querying (SQL) and scripting languages (Python).
• Statistical or mathematical software (R, SAS, Matlab).
• Machine learning, ETL processes, and large-scale data processing infrastructures.

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you should hold a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics, along with at least two years of professional experience in similar roles, demonstrating proficiency in the technical skills listed above.
