Roles and Responsibilities of a Data Visualization Analyst

As a Data Visualization Analyst, your main focus will be developing dashboards and reports to provide accurate and updated information to the business. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Business Insights, Data Engineering, Operations, and Support groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design performance-efficient, impactful reports and visualizations for both business and technical audiences.
• Make large and complex data more accessible, understandable, and usable.
• Transform, improve, and integrate data according to business requirements.
• Manage data federation and create instructional manuals for reports.
• Deliver data in an engaging and useful manner for end-users.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the role of a Data Visualization Analyst, you should possess the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's Degree in Statistics is a plus.
• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI or similar tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or Business Objects.
• Exposure to ETL processes and databases/data warehouses relevant to developing Power BI reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Critical thinking and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in a rotational/shifting schedule and start as soon as possible.
