We are currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented Database Administrator - Data Analytics to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define informational needs, data relationships, and attributes, propose manipulation strategies, data flow, storage requirements, output, and reporting capabilities.
  • Design, develop, and implement database applications to accommodate a variety of user needs.
  • Build data models and write SQL queries.
  • Perform system-level database and software maintenance.
  • Manage databases such as Oracle Database, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or related databases.
  • Administer, maintain, develop, and implement the integrity, security, and availability of multiple databases.
  • Maintain cybersecurity protocols and procedures when managing legacy government databases.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle or SQL Server Database Administration and Data Modeling.
  • Experience with administering Oracle databases and Microsoft SQL Server, including Replication, Backup/Restore procedures, Capacity Planning, Reporting Services, Analysis Services, and Integration Services.
  • Proficiency in recommending and implementing solutions for SQL performance monitoring and tuning.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Knowledge related to source/change control, bug tracking, SDLC, and integration of Relational Databases.
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential and/or sensitive materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing and maintaining data warehouses and working in cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience.

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time with occasional travel.

Compensation and Benefits:

The projected compensation range for this position is $90,200-$149,600. Factors that can impact the final salary include Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills, and competencies that align with the specified role, geographic location (for remote opportunities), education, certifications, and Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
