What You Will Do

As a Demand Response Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of assessing and shaping the landscape of Demand Response (DR), Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and Load Modifying Resources (LMR). You will:

• Conduct statistical and economic analysis on system and market operations, focusing on participant activities, pricing dynamics, and market anomalies.
• Perform assessments regarding market competitiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure the performance measurements and verification of DER, LMR, and DR, evaluating compliance with testing protocols.
• Lead studies to enhance the participation and effectiveness of DER, LMR, and DR in MISO's electricity markets.
• Investigate new market designs and participation models to adeptly manage evolving industry standards.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in economics, data, mathematics, engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in fields such as energy market forecasting, power system analysis, statistical analysis, market design, or optimization algorithms.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages like Python, R, VBA, or Tableau.
• Experience in deregulated wholesale electricity markets or utility experience is preferred.
