About the Role

The Director of Data Engineering at AMH plays a crucial role in managing our dynamic data engineering team. As the Director of Data Engineering, you will guide and develop a team dedicated to setting benchmarks in the industry. Your portfolio includes:

• Architecting and maintaining high-performing data infrastructures that support substantial data volume analytics.

What You Need to Bring

Eligible candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• At least eight years of substantial experience in data engineering, including proficiency in modern data platform construction, Azure environments, and large-scale data architecture positions.
• A minimum of five years in a leadership role overseeing data engineering projects and teams.
• Expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, SQL, and familiarity with Azure Fabric.
• Exceptional analytical, management, and communication skills to handle multiple stakeholders and projects.
