Job Description

The role is positioned in Dubai, though we offer a hybrid remote work program, allowing for flexible location. We are in search of a versatile Google Cloud expert with a heightened interest in AI to join our team of instructors. As part of our award-winning team, you will aid in the growth of our training portfolio and globally deliver training to some of the most prominent brands in the world.

We require an experienced Cloud professional who has a track record of delivering premium products or training using GCP technologies. While being a Certified Google Cloud Instructor would be commendable, it is not a mandatory requirement. What is crucial is your expert knowledge of GCP products, a zeal for sharing knowledge, and comfort in presenting in front of an audience. Once aboard, we can help you to become a certified Google Cloud instructor.

It is ideally required that you have a strong working knowledge of all things GCP, with comprehensive expertise in Data Engineering, Machine Learning & AI.

You will play a key role in assisting the team to identify opportunities to develop materials for teaching new Cloud courses, as well as in delivering training for the existing Google courses, including but not limited to, these specific learning tracks;

• Cloud Platform Architect Track
• Machine Learning Track
• Cloud Network Engineer Track
• Cloud Security Specialist Track
• Cloud Data Engineering Track

The ability to provide additional courses and possess the relevant certifications in any of the broad Google range (https://cloud.google.com/training/courses) would also be beneficial.

Ideally, you should also have a good understanding of competitors within the landscape who directly challenge Google Cloud, this includes other providers such as Amazon & Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• You will be primarily engaged in delivering virtual classroom sessions, these occur globally so expect deliveries that might fall outside your own time-zone.
• You will also be delivering some face-to-face training to clients in your region, occasionally you might also be required to travel overseas for course delivery.
• Flexibility is vital for this role, as the ability to travel or work at different hours is essential.

• You are expected to stay updated with GCP technology and product development.
• You will aid us in expanding our product range and significantly growing our offering of cloud & AI courses.
• You are required to possess the relevant GCP professional certification/s

Qualifications

What you’ll need

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience with Cloud Technologies.
• Comfort in presenting and delivering training sessions spanning multiple days both in the classroom and online.
• Comfort in training business level clients on how to broaden or diversify their existing skill sets.
• Capable of clearly communicating processes, strategies, and general requirements to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Basic proficiency with command-line tools and Linux operating system environments.
• Experience in Systems Operations, including the deployment and management of applications, either on-premises or in a public cloud environment.
• Certification in one of the following:
• Amazon Web Services
• Google Cloud Platform
• Microsoft Azure

Advantageous:

• Knowledge of a second language
• Familiarity with other GCP courses and technologies covering Developing in the cloud.
• Strong business sense and the ability to converse with leadership teams

• Comfortable with flexible work hours to accommodate global delivery via virtual classroom and potential occasional global travel.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional writer and communicator, comfortable speaking to advanced audiences, large groups, etc.
