Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Electromagnetic modeling or 3 years with advanced degree.
  • Proficiency in Electromagnetics and transmission line theory, signal integrity, and power integrity simulation and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB layout tools and advanced RF instruments like VNA and Spectrum analyzers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in Electromagnetic modeling with tools such as HFSS/Q3D, CST Microwave Studio, or Cadence Clarity.
  • Experience in RF desense, coexistence, system grounding, and modeling.
  • Proficiency with simulation tools like Ansys SIwave, Cadence PowerSI, PowerDC, Allegro, APD, and Keysight ADS.
  • Experience in lab measurements and scripting for measurement and EDA simulation automation.

As an Electromagnetic/Signal Integrity Power Integrity Engineer (EM/SPI), you will lead EM/SIPI analysis and design for Pixel watches, from architecture exploration to form factor design. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve design issues and ensure simulation confidence through measurement correlation.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all stages of Pixel watch development.
  • Conduct EM simulations at both component and system levels, focusing on passive mode extraction, RF desense, and system grounding.
  • Develop EM design rules for sensors.
  • Support SIPI simulations in frequency domain, and perform correlation studies between simulations and lab measurements.
  • Provide analysis and simulations to support cross-functional teams on debugging and solution optimization for EM-related issues.

Compensation:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000 to $211,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, and location, with additional factors such as skills, experience, and relevant education.
