Job Description

Our group develops electronic Airbag Control Units for passenger cars and trucks. We work closely with different development centers and plants around the world (e.g.: Germany, Romania, China, USA, India, Mexico,..) Our products save lives.

The airbag acceleration-, and gyro-sensor signals are extensively used in vehicles for stability and for automated driving. As an Embedded Sensor Analysis Engineer, you will possess wide sensor knowledge in MEMS, ASIC, vehicle functions based on sensor signals. You will analyze the claimed Airbag control units from the field, production, and development to identify the cause of the problem as a leader of a systematic problem-solving team and seek improvement possibilities to get a more robust product.

Your contribution to something big:

► Deep analysis of Airbag Sensors in Control Units and reproduction of failures

► Leading or participating in a systematic problem-solving team

► Creating the expert’s report as an Airbag Sensor specialist

► Developing improvements in analysis using automation, big data and data mining

► Cooperating with international project teams and internal sensor supplier

► Technical support in customer communication

► Cooperating with almost all global car manufacturers

Qualifications

► Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar technical field

► Ability to understand embedded systems, focus on acceleration and gyro sensors

► Good cooperation skills, capability for teamwork in an international environment

► Fluent English (German is an advantage)

► Analytic mindset and problem-solving skills

► Capability for independent and systematic work

► Willingness to travel

► Automotive experience is an advantage
