Enterprise Data/Integration Developer – Enterprise Data Management and Governance

Overview

Join our team in a technical role focused on the acquisition, transformation, and disposition of enterprise data. You will manage ETL/ELT processes, ensuring efficient data flow from business systems into our lake house while supporting the pub-sub data node. This role offers the chance to collaborate with enterprise teams to define shared standards, leverage common infrastructure, and enhance security. Responsibilities also include environment monitoring, system health maintenance, and content security. You'll interact with developers, stewards, DBAs, architects, and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the team on data pipelines, data enrichment, and performance metrics.
  • Deliver high-quality, efficient ETL and/or messaging solutions based on a standard framework.
  • Implement scalable, flexible, and highly available enterprise integrations that perform well under high traffic.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop and support effective data solutions.
  • Ensure enterprise privacy and compliance through applied standards.
  • Understand and implement secure credential management and proper encryption practices.
  • Monitor integration quality and develop methods to detect and correct data exchange anomalies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or related field.
  • Knowledge of Azure data platform, data structures, data warehousing, statistics, and analytic models.
  • 2 years of experience with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, and/or SQL Server.
  • 1-2 years of experience with commercial messaging and microservices solutions, including API management with SOA, ODATA, queue management, and enterprise service bus.
  • Hands-on experience with integration and/or ETL solutions with at least one of Oracle 19c, Microsoft SQL Server 2022, MuleSoft, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with ETL, ELT, REST, and SOAP implementations.
  • Experience in SQL and at least one other language: Python, R, MDX, C#, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Development experience with RDBMS (Microsoft SQL Server) in both transactional and analytic/EDW models.
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and project details.
  • Working knowledge of core business platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Adobe, ServiceNow, and Microsoft.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience in agile environments and practicing SAFe/scrum/DevOps.
  • Knowledge of data management best practices, processes, tools, standards, and methodologies.
  • Experience or exposure to cloud data tools like DocumentDB, Data Lake, Synapse, NoSQL, Hadoop/Spark, Data Bricks, Glue, and Data Factory.
  • Development experience in the cloud (AWS, Azure).

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions consider skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. A reasonable base salary range estimate is $70,720—$143,520 USD.
