EY GDS – AI & DATA – SAS – Senior

We are seeking candidates with strong technical and data expertise in the data engineering space, showcasing proven delivery capabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading firm and be a part of our dynamic and expanding AI & DATA team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Develop optimized programs and macros following SAS standard guidelines and functionality.
• Effectively utilize SAS Base, Macro, EG, and other native tools for development tasks.
• Apply deep understanding of Data Warehouse and ETL principles in project execution.
• Conduct data analysis, data profiling, and SQL tuning to ensure data quality and performance.
• Demonstrate expertise in Python coding for automation and scripting tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAS solutions into existing systems and processes.
• Explore and adopt new technologies to enhance development processes and capabilities.
• Work independently on assigned tasks, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in SAS development, focusing on SAS Base, Macro, and EG.
• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse and ETL principles with hands-on experience.
• Experience with Snowflake is an advantage.
• Proven experience working in a Cloud Environment.
• Proficiency in SQL tuning, data analysis, and data profiling techniques.
• Experience in Python coding for automation tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thought processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
