Job Description

As a Senior Information Assurance Security Specialist with GDIT, you will contribute to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) in Arlington, VA. You'll work directly with the Directorate of Cyber Integration (DCI) to ensure the security and compliance of the F-35's cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Conduct information system security engineering activities.
• Integrate security requirements into ground support information systems through design and development.
• Employ best practices for secure design, architecture, and coding techniques.
• Provide daily cybersecurity engineering support and oversight.
• Ensure compliance with Security Authorization Packages (SAP).
• Support Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) by witnessing dry-run compliance testing.
• Manage embedded resources and provide leadership to other team members.
• Provide engineering/architectural expertise and team leadership for the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).

Requirements

Experience

Required:

• 10 years of experience in designing and developing organizational information systems
• 5 years as a team leader or supervisor
• 8 years in system security Certification & Accreditation (C&A)
• 8 years in Vulnerability Assessment and/or Risk Analysis

Certifications

DoD Manual 8140.03 (441) Network Operations Specialist – Basic (CND/GSEC/Network+/Security+) OR Intermediate (CEH/CFR/Cloud+/GICSP/SSCP)

Education

MS/MA/BS/BA in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering Information Technology, Information Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Statistics, Operations Research or related technical discipline.

Note: Specific F-35 IT major defense acquisition systems experience can be substituted for this degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Desirable Qualifications

• 8+ years of practical airframe/weapon system security experience
• 5+ years in Vulnerability Assessment and/or Risk Analysis
• Experience in operational risk management

Salary Range: $155,550
