Role and Responsibilities

The Health System Analyst will support various health system stakeholders by providing data analysis, visualization, and analytics reporting to guide policy and program development and decision making.

  • Provide Analytic Information and Reports: Analyze health administrative data to produce reports and presentations for evidence-based decision making.
  • Lead Project Teams: Coordinate virtual research and analytic teams to create health information products and assess policy options.
  • Support Continuous Quality Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data frameworks and tools.
  • Create Data Visualizations: Develop dashboards and maps using tools like Excel, SAS, Power BI, R, and Python.
  • Provide Analytics Support: Identify client needs and provide standardized decision support analyses and reports.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Public Health, Data Science, or a related field, plus 4 years of progressive related work experience. Equivalent experience or education may be considered.
  • Experience in health-related applied research and various health system and analytic software packages.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and mapping tools.
  • Strong understanding of complex health system topics and ability to integrate information from various sources.
