Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
  • Technical knowledge gained through experience in a job area or system

Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge, or Qualifications

  • Knowledge of business intelligence database structures, algorithms, best practices, and auditing mechanisms
  • Expertise in data warehousing and performance concepts, business intelligence tools, and practices
  • Proficiency in SQL and other business intelligence products such as Tableau, Business Objects, and Oracle
  • Understanding of data warehouse objects, dimensions, hierarchies, fact tables, and aggregates
  • Skills in HTML, CSS, and visualization tools

Major Accountabilities

  • Maintains the quality of metadata repository by adding, modifying, and deleting data
  • Monitors and assists with processes and controls to maintain data integrity
  • Participates in planning processes, including inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of BI solutions
  • Works with internal clients and IT partners to gather requirements
  • Develops and writes business requirements for the design of solutions
  • Determines and analyzes commonly used queries and reports
  • Assists in the development of end-user training materials
