Job Description

We're currently seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our Marketing Service Team and conduct analyses, design, and implementation of robust data solutions that align with business requirements, with guidance from senior staff.

Here are your probable responsibilities:

  • Conducting preliminary data analysis and auditing;
  • Ensuring a preliminary document or discussion takes place to identify the main requirements for the new development;
  • Evaluating the suitability of the supplied data for the development, including identifying faults in the provided data;
  • Understanding the structure and relationships within the data and adhering to specifications;
  • Ensuring adequate testing at each phase of the build process;
  • Performing any necessary audit and login procedures;
  • Initiating and implementing solutions, including coding and testing as needed, with assistance;
  • Sharing technical know-how with team members, management, and clients;
  • Collaborating with other functional specialists in the fields of Data Analysis, Modelling, Software Development, GIS, and QA to devise the most suitable solution for any given problem;
  • Managing your own tasks and time to ensure project deadlines are met.

Qualifications

We expect you to have:

  • A background in database technologies, including design, administration, population, etc.;
  • Decent programming and development skills;
  • A flexible approach to development;
  • Good planning and management of data development tasks within a project;
  • Effective communication skills – both with a technical and non-technical audience;
  • Excellent numeracy skills;
  • A logical and methodical manner;
  • A dynamic and upbeat attitude;
  • Effective time management, organization, and planning skills.
