The responsibilities of a Machine Learning Engineer include creating machine learning models and retraining systems. This job requires exceptional skills in statistics and programming. The role calls for an innovative and motivated individual who, under general supervision but with a high level of autonomy, uses comprehensive knowledge and skills gained through education and experience to develop necessary solution architecture and provide recommendations to meet customer requirements. How you’ll make an impact: - Conduct research, study, and modify data science prototypes. - Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines to support machine learning workflows or systems. - Conduct research and implement appropriate machine learning algorithms and tools. - Develop machine learning applications according to requirements. - Evaluate and identify suitable datasets and data representation methods. - Conduct machine learning tests and experiments. - Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results to improve the performance of existing machine learning models and algorithms. - Train and retrain systems when necessary. - Continually evaluate existing machine learning libraries and frameworks to improve performance. - Stay updated on latest machine learning techniques, technologies, and developments in the field to apply them to real-world problems. What we're looking for: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field; a Master’s degree is a plus. - 3+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models as an ML Engineer or similar role. - Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture. - Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithms. - Strong programming skills and the ability to write robust code in Python, Java, and R. - Familiarity with Machine Learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. - Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience working in technology or cybersecurity is a plus.
