About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will:

• Develop cutting-edge AI/ML software products that explore large datasets, implement new algorithms, and perform feature engineering.
• Test, evaluate, and deploy models into production, scaling across our comprehensive network.
• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data infrastructures for AI/ML projects.
• Write scalable, maintainable, and well-designed code utilizing the best software architecture and design patterns.
• Create solutions, components, services, and frameworks that address common needs in AI/ML projects such as feature reuse and model traceability.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional agile team alongside highly skilled engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to enhance our AI ecosystem.

What We Look For

Ideal candidates will have:

• A BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in roles relevant to Machine Learning Engineering.
• A strong passion for coding and applying software engineering practices within ML projects.
• Proven experience in developing software products that have been successfully deployed to production.
• Extensive coding skills in modern programming languages with a robust background in Python (3+ years).
• Expertise in cloud technologies for ML development, especially Google Cloud and Vertex AI.
• Proficient in MLOps practices, developing ML pipelines, and deploying ML applications into production environments.
• A solid understanding of AI/ML techniques, frameworks, high-volume heterogeneous data handling, data structures, databases, and data storage technologies.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, team collaboration, data-driven development, and responsible experimentation.
