Machine Learning Operations Data Engineer II Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opening for a Machine Learning Operations Data Engineer II as part of our AI/ML team. This role is essential in supporting our collaborative efforts with Data Science, Data Engineering, Subject Matter Experts, and Solution Architecture teams.

In this key position, you will focus on Azure AI/ML Operations, building and maintaining robust data platforms and pipelines essential for advanced analytics. This opportunity allows you to create impactful AI/ML-based applications that significantly benefit our clients.

Your responsibilities will include developing platform tooling, deploying data science models to production, and monitoring their performance. You will play a crucial role across the entire Machine Learning application development lifecycle, contributing to data ingestion, experimentation, model training, deployment, and monitoring.

Required Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in implementing AI/ML solutions, platform tooling for Data Science, and extensive expertise in technologies like Spark SQL, PySpark, Python, R, MLFlow, and SQL.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in MLOps, Data Engineering, software engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in a range of technologies, including Azure, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Packer, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and both Linux/Windows VM administration.
• A solid foundation in software engineering best practices, security principles, and networking standards.

Additionally, candidates with a foundational knowledge of Data Science and a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field from an accredited institution will be preferred.
