Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Data Management Leader

We're searching for a Manufacturing Data Management Leader to oversee the provision of critical manufacturing data for our ERP systems. This role involves evaluating month-end close data, proposing corrective actions, and improving data collection and accuracy processes.

The position requires close collaboration with Controlling, Manufacturing Performance, and Production Managers, playing a crucial role in monitoring the performance of our US manufacturing sites in Keokuk and Gurnee. The Manufacturing Data Management Leader will lead a team focused on master data management for manufacturing (1-2 direct reports).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end closing processes.
• Prepare daily production declarations and develop tools for gap analysis with the Symphony team.
• Support area management in organizing Symphony data to identify and address yield and mass balance discrepancies.
• Control data integrity in Symphony and provide improvement recommendations.
• Offer expertise to other departments such as Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing.
• Asses data collection relevance and propose Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Prioritize data needs in alignment with Americas priorities.
• Develop automatic data extraction tools for various reports and processes.
• Collaborate with the controlling team to align financial values with technical data.
• Implement new standards and processes from Global leads.
• Train leaders on new standards and manage change in data management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Production Manager, Site Plant Managers, or Head of Manufacturing Americas.

Required Competencies, Education, and Experience

• Problem-solving and effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Teamwork orientation and communication proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Production.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment using SAP.
• Knowledge of continuous production processes.
