The Challenge

The Adobe Technology Services (ATS) organization is on a mission to enable Adobe business to deliver, operate, and scale robust cloud solutions. ATS supports Adobe’s growing suite of cloud-based products by providing cloud services, hosting, operations, security, and architectural support.

We are looking for a dynamic Computer Scientist with expertise in Software Development and Cloud Infrastructure. You should be proficient in developing and delivering a highly-available and reliable 24x7 Application environment. Ensuring that our applications and database systems are of the highest reliability and performance is critical for us.

Job Description

Role: Member of Technical Staff 2

As a Software Engineer in the Adobe Technology Services organization, you will help the team develop, maintain, and evolve software services while maintaining the quality standards of the company.

Duties:

  • Design and implement plans to enhance automated testing frameworks or systems.
  • Develop and execute manual and automated tests, report findings automatically.
  • Contribute to product functionality by investigating ways to improve usability, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Participate in product requirements and development sessions to ensure seamless integration of new features.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of Java development experience (Python is a plus).
  • Experience with MVC frameworks like Spring.
  • Experience in Shell scripting and Unix/Linux platforms.
  • Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in object-oriented design and design patterns.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Proficiency in web technologies (JavaScript and ReactJS are plus).
  • Experience releasing highly scalable enterprise products.
  • Solid coding practices, including good design documentation, unit testing, and peer code reviews.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in algorithm design and problem-solving.
  • Experience in Machine Learning, Data Mining, or Information Retrieval.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with No-SQL databases.
  • Mobile web development experience.
  • Experience with top JavaScript MVC frameworks like Backbone, Angular, Ember, Spine, or Knockout.
  • Knowledge of current web technologies.
  • Participation in technical blogging, PoCs, and community projects.
