About the Role

At AIB’s Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence, our Analytics function is pivotal in harnessing the power of data. Consisting of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Reporting Analysts, and Advanced Analytics Specialists, we drive meaningful insights to influence decisions across the group. Our Advanced Analytics team is dedicated to creating AI and Machine Learning solutions that not only propel AIB forward but also ensure equitable outcomes for our community.

We are currently seeking an experienced ML Engineer to enhance our model deployment and management capabilities. Utilizing tools like SAS Viya, Teradata, Python, and various Cloud technologies, you will be instrumental in integrating MLOps, ModelOps, DevOps, and DataOps frameworks to streamline our data processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage MLOps infrastructure alongside technology teams.
  • Optimize and scale machine learning models.
  • Develop automated pipelines for machine learning model lifecycles.
  • Maintain model performance through continuous monitoring and updating.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to enhance tooling and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in Machine Learning and advocate for technological advancements.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in MLOps, ModelOps, DevOps, or DataOps.
  • Proficiency in SAS Viya, Teradata, and Python.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML services.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and understanding of financial data security regulations.
