Key Responsibilities

As an ML Specialist in our dynamic GenAI team, you will:

• Collaborate with the research, engineering, and product divisions to align project objectives with Meta's strategic goals.
• Utilize advanced machine learning techniques and algorithms to analyze extensive datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Identify and address potential risks within GenAI projects, crafting effective mitigation strategies and managing these proactively to maintain project integrity and data quality.
• Keep senior leadership and stakeholders informed with regular updates on project status, risks, and performance metrics.
• Set and uphold quality standards across a variety of AI projects, establishing processes to monitor and sustain the quality of outputs.
• Lead initiatives to enhance machine learning methodologies and adopt industry best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• At least 10 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a similar field.
• Proven expertise in developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms.
• Familiarity with SQL and robust database management skills.
• Aptitude for communicating intricate technical details to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in managing innovative technologies that evolve rapidly.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in AI and machine learning sectors.
• A firm grasp of AI, machine learning, and deep learning technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale machine learning projects successfully within the set timeframe and budget.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and familiarity with big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
