Responsibilities:
- As a Sr. AI/ML Engineer, you will operate as a machine learning expert to distinguish Google Cloud to our customers
- You will assist potential customers and partners in recognizing the potency of Google Cloud, illustrating technical features, aiding in designing architectures, and tackling any foreseeable hurdles
- Additionally, you will aid customers in harnessing specialized machine learning (ML) hardware developed by Google
- You will collaborate with customers and product development to shape the platform
- Identify and qualify business opportunities with the team, comprehend key customer technical objections, and devise a strategy to eliminate technical obstacles
- Provide machine learning expertise to foster the technical relationship with Google customers, including product and solution briefings and proof-of-concept work
- Partner with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud
- Work with customers to showcase and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments
- Suggest integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure essential to deploy a wholesome solution using best practices on Google Cloud
- Travel to customer locations, conferences, and related events as required
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience as a sales engineer, or a technical consultant in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role is preferred
- Experience in Big Data, Machine Learning, and numerical programming frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Python, MATLAB)
- Experience in virtualization or cloud-native architectures in a customer-facing or support role
- An individual who enjoys problem-solving and comprehending how things operate
- Thrives in an environment requiring continual learning
Preferred Skills:
- Collaboration on an open-source project on GitHub or any other public platform
- Completion of multiple experimental projects in personal time
- A demonstrable aptitude for learning new technologies
- Professional experience in a contributor role on any CNCF project
