As the research division of Dolby, the Advanced Technology Group (ATG) is dedicated to foresight, innovation, and technological solutions fueling Dolby's continuous growth. Our team boasts a diverse range of expertise, including AI/ML, algorithms, digital signal processing, audio engineering, image processing, computer vision, data science and analytics, distributed systems, cloud, edge and mobile computing, computer networking, and IoT.
As a Research Intern – Generative Video at Dolby, you’ll work on cutting-edge topics within the field. Guided by Dolby’s leading media technology experts, you will tackle industry-relevant generative video challenges aimed at enhancing multimedia entertainment experiences. This position is based at our research office in Sunnyvale, California.

Currently enrolled in a doctorate program in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Available to work full-time Monday – Friday for 12 weeks between September 2024 – December 2024. The internship start date is Monday, September 23, 2024 (non-negotiable).
The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship is $44-57/hr. Pay can vary outside this location, determined by factors like role, level, and location. Individual pay is also influenced by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our recruiter can provide detailed information regarding the specific range, perks, and benefits during the hiring process.
