Join Oracle as a Principal Software Engineer - Health Data and Analytics Platform

We are inviting an experienced Principal Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to pioneering projects that include enhancing architectural efforts, drastically improving data processing speeds, and scaling comprehensive health records to national population levels.

Key Responsibilities

As a core part of our team, you’ll:

• Design and develop distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant software systems.
• Build cloud services on top of the modern OCI infrastructure.
• Engage in all software lifecycle phases, from design to development, quality assurance, and production.
• Commit to the best engineering and operational practices to uphold our high software quality standards.
• Optimize data processing pipelines for significantly higher throughput and reduced latencies.
• Utilize a myriad of internal tools at OCI for developing, building, deploying, and troubleshooting software.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Significant cloud engineering and infrastructure development experience.
• Proficiency in distributed systems and with modern programming languages (Java, C#, C/C++, Ruby).
• Expertise in Big Data processing technologies and relational databases, including Hadoop, Map/Reduce, and stream processing.
• Experience in production operations and best practices for deploying quality code and troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in communicating technical ideas through verbal and written means.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
