Role Overview

As the first point of contact for our Platform Tribe, you'll provide both ad-hoc and proactive analysis to promote data-driven decision-making in the product creation process. Collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence and Analytical teams to explore platform data, ask insightful questions, and deliver comprehensive reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regular and ad-hoc analyses tailored to diverse audience levels (solution, product, and supervisor).
  • Validate product hypotheses and measure the impact of rolled-out products.
  • Create insightful charts, graphs, and visualizations to inform key team members.
  • Visualize and tell compelling stories with data and dashboards.
  • Operate independently, producing proactive insights for managers.
  • Collaborate and share best practices within the data team.
  • Participate and offer advice in squad meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent.
  • Experience with large datasets and preferred analysis tools (Python, R, SQL, MicroStrategy, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in applying statistical techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time series analysis).
  • Desirable: Working knowledge of JIRA and JQuery.
  • Excellent presentation skills and stakeholder rapport-building.
  • Strong communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations.
  • A passion for continuous learning and development in innovative techniques.
