About the Role

We're seeking a dynamic individual to join us in shaping the future of fashion as we continue our relentless pursuit of innovation and success. As part of Boohoo’s Group Data & Analytics team and working closely with our Brand Leaders, this is an exciting opportunity for a data professional to join a dynamic and growing business. This role involves working consultatively with a large base of stakeholders across multiple brands and providing clear and engaging reports and insights into a wide variety of topics.

Your Responsibilities

As a Product Insight Analyst at Boohoo Group, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding key processes within the brand to build meaningful insights in support of those processes
  • Analyzing data using query languages such as SQL, Python, and R
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data to diagnose problems or quantify risk opportunities
  • Bringing insights to life through data storytelling, ensuring key messages are clear and impactful
  • Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to solve problems as a team
  • Sharing experience and knowledge to help nurture data skills within the team
  • Championing data as a corporate asset and increasing data literacy across the Boohoo Group

Your Team

In the BI, Data & Analytics team, we manage the end-to-end data ingestion, curation, governance, real-time reporting, analytics, and insights for Boohoo Group. Our goal is to enable more automated, data-driven decisions through Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. We provide real-time reporting to keep the business updated on the brands’ performance hourly, every single day.

Key Requirements and Skills

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A desire to learn multiple query languages (SQL, Python, R)
  • A self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Strong team player abilities, working with multiple business leads to achieve objectives
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines
  • A hunger to partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and use data-driven solutions
  • High numerate skills and commercial awareness
  • Experience using BI tools to visualize data and tell stories (desirable)
  • Exposure to statistical modeling (e.g., predictive modeling, forecasting, segmentation) (desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
