About the Role

Located within the R&D Operational Excellence structure, the R&D Sustainability – Process & Reporting team offers an exciting role for a Data Processing Specialist. In our drive to embed sustainability and compliance in our portfolio, high-quality data is crucial for effective business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, assess, interpret, and validate internal R&D data to support our sustainability goals and ambitions.
• Ensure internal protocols are followed for collecting, transforming, and validating R&D data attributes within agreed deadlines.
• Communicate progress to team members and program leadership, highlighting any blockers that may impact schedules and plans.
• Collaborate closely with Functional SMEs for information acquisition and verification.
• Identify gaps during reviews and suggest resolution options with corrective action plans, working effectively with wider R&D teams for successful implementation.
• Manage change control and deviation requirements to closure.
• Contribute to business process changes for ongoing management, monitoring, and governance of R&D data to maintain data quality, consistency, and integrity.

Experience and Skills

• Degree in a relevant science discipline (desirable).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High sense of urgency and achievement.
• Basic understanding of Chemistry.
• Comfortable with repetitive data-oriented tasks.
• Experience in FMCG or a related industry, with knowledge of product formulation (preferred but not essential).
