Position Overview:

Job Title: Registered Nurse PRN - Imaging
Location: Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and physiologic assessments, integrating dynamic patient data to formulate personalized care plans. Our focus includes tailored patient education, discharge planning, and culturally competent care. You'll actively engage in transition planning for treatment options and end-of-life care, ensuring all your actions are grounded in sound clinical judgment. Our environment encourages you to adapt educational programs to meet individual patient and family needs during healthcare delivery.

Coordination of Care: Promote optimal patient outcomes through effective communication and collaboration with healthcare team members, patients, and families. Participate in staff assignments and team initiatives, incorporating teamwork into practice to improve productivity and patient care.

Quality: Serve as a clinical resource, demonstrating leadership, mentoring and guiding team members. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and integrate evidence-based practice and research findings into nursing practice.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
  • Experience in specialty areas such as Pediatric, GI, etc., as per facility needs.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Active RN license as required by state of employment.
  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of employment.
