The Amazon Finance Operations organization is seeking an experienced reporting and business intelligence (BI) analyst. This BI analyst will be tasked with reporting maintenance, development, and productivity analytics for the retail collections organization.

- Building accurate and functional dashboards to supply stakeholders with necessary data for their work
- Constructing data sets
- Accessing and utilizing a variety of analytical tools (such as Amazon Redshift, SQL consoles, ETL)
- Writing efficient SQL queries
- Using data to answer business questions
- Constructing ad hoc analysis as needed
- Participating in further improvement and automation projects within the team
- Procuring the required data by collaborating with other engineering teams
- Collaborating with business users on requirements, objectives, and measures
- Applying best practices for documenting code and solutions, and leading a 'Fin-ops builders' site initiative
Starting salary for this position is EUR 2,300 gross per month, with further pay included, such as a sign-on bonus, eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in the USA. About the team:
The successful candidate will report to the Senior AR EU manager, supporting reporting needs, and safeguarding data used for decision making. The BI analyst will navigate Amazon's data-lake structures and data sets, ensuring classifications and definitions are synchronized across the Global AR space. They will cooperate closely with the Global reporting team (GARDA) and transition operation reports/dashboards to a global reporting platform (Tableau). They will also aid AR managers and analysts with small scale and cross functional projects and improvement initiatives, and strive to harmonize and improve efficiency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications:
- Fluent English
- Ability to combine and manage complex and unstructured data tables from varied sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create and manage work plans, timelines, and handle multiple priorities
- Proven experience with at least one of the following (Tableau, PowerBi, Quicksight)
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in a Business Analyst or BI Engineer role
- Professional experience working with large data sets and writing complex SQL queries (or fluency in SQL)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in a business intelligence or business analyst role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques, and technology
- Successful verbal and written communication to senior audiences, along with solid data presentation and visualization skills
- Experience with ETLM tools
