Senior Research Analyst

Join our esteemed team as a Senior Research Analyst, where you will be entrusted with the development, research, and continuous enhancement of indexes and related materials. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting our indexes through comprehensive methodologies and analytical tools.

Role Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine investment metrics for indexes, ensuring precision in calculations and alignment with current market conditions.
• Provide simulation services to support index decision-making processes.
• Conduct in-depth research on the Asia Pacific market, focusing on style factors, thematic elements, and sustainability-related factors. Analyze and quantify their potential impact on investment portfolios.
• Engage with clients to discuss quantitative research findings and offer tailored index recommendations and solutions.
• Respond to internal research inquiries related to index construction and development.
• Assume responsibility for index rebalance mechanisms.
• Create regular research reports highlighting the application of research tools and the characteristics of specific indexes.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of quantitative investment analytics including portfolio simulation, optimization algorithms, and performance attribution.
• 3-5+ years of solid analytical investment experience on either the buy or sell side.
• Proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages such as SQL, Matlab, or Python, with applied experience in an analytical environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of global financial markets and products.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with business proficiency in speaking and writing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage workloads, meet strict deadlines, and assume additional responsibilities readily.
