Internship Opportunity: Research Scientist Intern, Hardware Product Engineering (PhD)

This position focuses on supporting the ambitious goals of our display performance roadmap, particularly concerning microLED display wafers. As an intern, you will:

  • Assess and correlate the performance of microLED display wafers with wafer processing conditions.
  • Analyze electro-optic and metrology data to draw insightful conclusions.
  • Identify trends in display and device performance by managing extensive datasets.
  • Work closely with seasoned researchers and cross-functional teams to present findings and discuss results in strategic forums.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be currently obtaining, or have obtained, a Ph.D. in fields such as Optical Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Required to obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire.
  • At least two years of experience in optical research or development, particularly with optoelectronics devices.
  • Proficient with modern data analysis tools such as Tibco Spotfire, Minitab, JMP, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Eagerness to gain expertise in microLED displays and related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills demonstrated by a record of significant results.
