Devsu is on the hunt for a skilled DBA/Data Engineer with significant experience, ready to tackle challenges remotely from anywhere in Latin America. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and agile team, dedicated to developing world-class software products.

Key Responsibilities

As a pivotal part of our team, you will:

• Design and develop high-standard data products and adjoining data pipelines focused on performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Create and implement Machine Learning algorithms.
• Devise data management strategies and architecture for data warehouses to serve as a single source-of-truth for both internal and external clients.
• Collaborate with teams across Product, Analytics, and Data Science to define requirements and develop new data products.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to fellow data engineers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in building ETL/Data pipelines.
• Experience with distributed databases and modern streaming platforms.
• Proficiency in continuous integration tools like Jenkins and build tools such as Maven, Ant, or SBT.
• Advanced skills in SAP D1 and familiarity with at least three different databases.
• Expertise in SQL, preferably Ohana SQL, and thorough understanding of database management systems.
• Knowledge of C# for script automation.
• A detail-oriented, self-driven work ethic.
• Part-time availability with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in English.
• Experience with Logi Analytics BI tools, Apache NIFI, and capacity to create reports using Logi Info with features like filters and graphs.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
