Job Overview
At Highmark Health, we are seeking a skilled Senior Analytic Data Analyst to play a critical role in understanding and analyzing healthcare data from end-to-end. This vital position involves cleansing, validating, auditing, and comparing data from diverse sources, ensuring high-quality analytics support for enterprise-wide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough analytics for the enterprise by cleansing, validating, auditing, and comparing data across various sources.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of new data sources for enterprise analytics.
- Monitor data sources regularly to maintain high data quality standards.
- Provide guidance and training to Associate and Intermediate-level team members.
- Manage customer relations effectively, spearheading functions or domains within analytics.
- Engage in requirements gathering from key stakeholders using expert domain knowledge.
- Execute additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Analysis, Data Processing, Healthcare Informatics, Management Information Systems, or closely related field. A Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems or Healthcare Informatics is preferred.
- Experience: 5 - 7 years in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or relevant sectors within the healthcare industry. Experience in Data Warehousing is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in SQL, SAS, and Microsoft Office. Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, testing skills, and requirements analysis.
Job Details
- Travel: 0% - 25%
- Location: Primarily office-based with occasional travel to work sites.
- Physical Requirements: Regular lifting of up to 10 pounds.
- Pay Range: $67,500 - $124,800 annually, based on qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
