What Will You Do as a Senior Application Data Engineer?

In your new role, you will spearhead the technical direction for a burgeoning team focused on developing the future client data model for Trading in Financial Advisor Services (FAS). You'll dive deep into the architecture and development of a new data system, including crafting and deploying various APIs. By mentoring your team and driving continuous learning and improvement, you will enhance both the technical prowess and the innovative capacity of the group.

Apart from technical leadership, you’ll engage closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate complex client requirements into executable technical solutions. Your expertise in AWS microservices, DevOps best practices, and your ability to adapt to evolving requirements will make you a pivotal part of our team.

Who Are We Looking For?

Ideal candidates will bring a robust technical background with expertise in AWS infrastructure, Python, SQL, and API development. Experience in data product management, particularly with AWS Aurora DB, and a knack for leading new teams will set you apart. We value innovators and problem-solvers committed to our ethos of continuous improvement and agile development.

Your Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience, with a strong focus in database and/or API development.
• An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• A proven track record in backend technologies and implementing complex tech stacks.
• A growth mindset and excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams.
