Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be integral to the development of our systems and services, enabling users to analyze and act on network data on a global internet scale. Your key responsibilities include:

• Building and evolving internal and external services for managing the lifecycle, access, enrichment, and transformation of our collected data and user inputs.
• Integrating our software with external APIs and services to enhance user workflows and expedite action.

Job Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, with opportunities to work with Python, Kotlin, and JVM languages.
• Experience in distributed systems.
• Expertise in API design, implementation, and versioning.
• Familiarity with various data storage systems and approaches.
• Proven experience with SQL for both transactional and analytical workloads.
• Knowledge of ETL and/or data warehouse systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, mission-focused, and thrive in unclear situations.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability in a rapidly growing environment.
• Strong ownership of your domain and capability to elevate the engineering team's knowledge through shared documentation.
