What is this position about?
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst, to work alongside a leading US non-profit educational institution. Your role will involve using Looker to optimize paid search campaigns, create executive reports, perform marketing analytics, and track KPIs for initiatives. This is a chance to make a data-driven impact in the education sector.
You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office!
What will I be doing?
- Engage in work-stream planning processes right from the start, including technical design, development, testing and delivery of BI solutions.
- Combine creative ideas and formulate visual analytics approaches in accordance with client needs.
- Design and develop data visualizations, complex reports and dashboards. Manage the scheduling and sharing of Looks and dashboards using features such as table calculations, Looker expressions, custom and advanced filters, and pivoting.
- Create fresh Look ML dimensions and construct Explores to enable users to address business inquiries while enhancing query and report performance.
- Employ Looker's Explore feature to create and curate content, query data, validate data accuracy, identify error sources and control content access for security.
- Execute persistent derived tables, establish caching policies, maintain version control, evaluate code quality, and utilize SQL Runner for data validation.
What expertise do I need?
- Background in Economics, business, computer science or related.
- Advanced experience in SQL with a focus on data analysis.
- Experience with implementing and managing BI platforms for business intelligence, data applications, and embedded analytics.
- Strong knowledge of Looker including, Look ML
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey insights to across teams.
