Overview

Compassion International is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst for our People & Culture department. This expert analyst will produce complex operational and labor market intelligence data. By discovering and querying major data repositories and other sources, the analyst will interpret findings, create significant reports, and make key recommendations. Using both qualitative and quantitative techniques, the analyst will focus on predictive analysis to discover data patterns and trends, providing expert advisory on major research and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and witness consistently for Him.
  • Act as an advocate for children, raising awareness and prioritizing child protection in decision-making, tasks, and activities.
  • Conduct in-depth data reviews using traditional and advanced methods.
  • Mine data from internal sources, industry reports, and public information to ensure valid and consistent data for actionable analysis.
  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate analysis plans, develop questionnaires, and design research plans.
  • Author comprehensive reports on People & Culture and present findings to executives, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Help maintain business intelligence tools, databases, and dashboards and provide technical support for existing reports and systems.
  • Coach and oversee the work of other professionals and support staff in the business intelligence field.
  • Engage actively in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.

Qualifications

  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, analytics, data science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum ten years of relevant experience in conducting statistical analysis in human resources or a related field.
  • Proficiency with statistical software such as R, Python, or SAS.
  • Strong data visualization skills (Tableau experience preferred).
  • Preferred experience with Workday reporting and Workday Prism.
  • Preferred experience with data management and SQL.
