Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Cloud Infra Data Specialist, you'll be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining our state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Developing secure, scalable, and highly reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP platforms.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for seamless testing, deployment, and scalability.
• Integrating DevOps practices with software development lifecycle in collaboration with multiple teams.
• Employing IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation for efficient infrastructure management.
• Monitoring systems to optimize performance, reliability, and cost.
• Enforcing security best practices across all cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Building disaster recovery strategies and maintaining rigorous backup protocols.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to newer team members.
• Working with cutting-edge technology trends in cloud computing and DevOps.
• Improving developer efficiency and application quality through advanced internal tools.

Required Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development focusing on DevOps.
• Strong proficiency in AWS or GCP services, management tools, and modern programming languages like Python.
• Substantial experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and IaC.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in AWS or GCP. Knowledge of the alternate cloud platform is a plus.
• Experience with data pipelines, microservices architecture, and serverless computing.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Advanced skills in version control systems, especially Git.
