Senior Data Analyst

Let's start with the role

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Data Analyst to join our rapidly expanding BI & Analytics team and contribute to the development of our Kaizen Gaming functions in an exciting data-driven journey. Your main focus will be on topics relevant to Commercial such as market, regional and global performance, budget performance, as well as customer and operational focused analyses, among others.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Foster close relationships with the Commercial Functions;
• Actively provide data analytics and insights to the function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with minimal supervision/guidance;
• Analyze KPIs with a clear view on results vs. expected targets
• Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders to help them make better-informed business decisions;
• Receive priorities directly from the function;
• Possess a solid understanding of the tools that the Commercial function is using, as well as the data these produce and how these can be used to extract insights;
• Continuously challenge existing metrics and KPIs and work closely with the rest of Business Intelligence (BI) to develop new metrics and KPIs that will help drive business growth;
• Collaborate closely with the rest of the BI team to ensure alignment, adoption of best data visualization practices, and information flow from the hub to the spoke and vice versa;
• Work towards establishing a strong data culture across the organization.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, economics, operations research, or similar;
• Minimum of 4 years working experience in a reporting, statistical or quantitative role;
• Work experience in the gaming industry would be considered an advantage;

Analytical mindset and detail-focused with the ability to concentrate and prioritize workload;

• Exceptional data storytelling skills and the ability to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience;
• Ability to think strategically and primarily cooperate and interact with senior stakeholders ;
• High motivation, proactive attitude, and flexible to changing business demands;
• Advanced SQL skills, highly proficient with MS-Excel and Google-sheets (pivot tables, v-lookups);
• Working experience with Microsoft Power BI would be considered a plus (or other dashboarding tools such as Tableau);
• Working experience with Python would also be considered a plus (especially Pandas, Numpy, and other relevant libraries for data analysis);
• Fluent in English.
