About The Role
The role is Principal Data Analyst (DA) working within the Shared Consumer Platform (SCP) - Goto CDP (Customer Data Platform) team together with 2 other DA teams. The aim is to act as a Subject Matter Expert for DA-related activities, serving Product, Business, and Data stakeholders by providing data and analysis related to GoTo CDP attributes. The goal is to find potential areas for improvement in terms of user personalization, category affinity, demographic, and any other data point across the GoTo ecosystem.
The position involves collaboration with other Analytics and Data teams across the GoTo Ecosystem. The challenge lies in serving dynamic and growing products and fostering cross-collaboration with various teams across Operating Companies (Tokopedia, Gojek, GTF). This role requires an understanding of not only Tokopedia data but also Gojek and GTF data.
What you will do
As a Principal Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include acting as a Subject Matter Expert in Data and Analytics within a Business Unit/Cluster, working closely with Product, Business, and Technology teams, understanding and analyzing Transactional, Behavioral, and Demographic data. You will need to explore various datasets to generate insights, conclusions, and recommendations. You will produce actionable dashboards for monitoring and reporting, create insightful analytical reports, and collaborate with other data functions such as Data Engineering, Trackers, and Scientist teams. Assisting other data analysts in terms of technical capabilities will also be part of your duties.
What you will need
The role requires programming skills in SQL/R/Python, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in data analytics or applied statistics. You should have excellent analytical skills to extract information from large volumes of data, excellent oral and writing skills, a strong results orientation, independent working ability, and the ability to collaborate in multi-functional teams. A degree or equivalent in related fields such as Statistics, Math, Business and Economics is preferable. You should also have data visualization skills, and the ability to break down problems into clear problem statements, objectives, and solution steps.
