The Role: Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at Cognite, you will be at the forefront of managing and deriving insights from vast amounts of industrial data. This role allows you to engage in large-scale, impactful projects and collaborate with industry leaders to deploy digital solutions, driving efficiency across critical sectors such as Power & Utilities, Energy, and Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing scalable data engineering solutions with Cognite Data Fusion®.
• Leading data integration, modeling, and analysis using cutting-edge technologies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects to our customers.

Desired Qualifications

Prospective candidates are expected to have:

• A Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years in a data-intensive, customer-facing role.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and REST APIs, with experience in distributed computing and cloud services.
• A DevOps mindset and familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and deployment environments.
• An ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and independently tackle complex problems.
