Job Role: Senior Data Engineer - Analytics Engineering

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the development of our data warehouse. Your responsibilities include crafting data pipelines and collaborating closely with business users, platform data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers. We foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results-oriented culture, dedicated to your continuous professional growth.

Your expertise should include several, if not all, of the following:

• Development and maintenance of data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL
• Ability to translate business concepts into quantitative metrics (e.g., KPIs, OKRs)
• Analytical modeling (e.g., star schema, snowflake, data vault)
• Data architecture and modeling techniques for analytical purposes (e.g., Data Mart, Data Lake, Data Warehouse)
• Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and business stakeholders
• Workflow orchestration with tools like Airflow, Luigi, Azkaban, DBT, or Dataform
• Programming in Python, Scala, Java, or Go

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Development, Continuous Testing
• Knowledge of distributed processing frameworks like Spark, Flink, Beam
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform tools (e.g., BigQuery, GCS, GKS, IAM, GCP DataProc, Cloud SQL, Composer, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Looker) or Amazon Web Services
