Job Description
- Design and customize reports.
- Modify databases as per requests and carry out tests.
- Monitor the data quality of data pipelines, provide data management support to clients.
- Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.
- Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines for deeper analysis and reporting.
- Develop and implement data models, data marts for enterprise data lake/data warehouse, and integration development process.
- Write effective and scalable ETL processes for the business’s data collection systems and processing pipelines.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities: daily standup, demo session, retrospective, estimate and planning, etc.
- Provide mentoring/training for junior members if any.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Leader/Manager.
Qualifications
General requirements:
- Good English communication skill.

- Ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate effectively.
Technical requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience working with SQL databases.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management and writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, etc.
- Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with database design, normalization, and performance tuning.
- Good knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
- Familiarity with scripting languages for automation.
Nice to have:
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum.
- Knowledge of DB security best practices and encryption.
- Knowledge of data warehousing tools like Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery.
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
- Knowledge of cloud-based database platforms like AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL.
